The movie that changed Mollywood. Head to toe. Back in 2009.

Prior to theatrical release, we did three free preview screenings of the movie in three major towns of Kerala. For the film industry and the media. That was exactly the idea. To breathe a fresh dose of excitement into Malayalam cinema. To get the industry refreshed.

Kindly check the Wikipedia list of Malayalam films till 2009. And then look through the lists post 2010.

You'll see what Ritu did to the entire industry—it blew the old traditional art & commercial cinema barriers away. It boldly spoke about what's really going on with Kerala's 'new generation'. The trend then guzzled up the Malayalam cinema, currently, India's most favourite industry.

Of course, there were other wonderful movies I respect that pushed the trend.

Just saying that Ritu was born in my writing room.
